The clock on an Irish bus, incorrect

A clock on Bus Eireann, incorrect
The red digital clocks at the front of Bus Eireann coaches are incorrect, I'd say, at least half the time — the criterion for "incorrect" being "not even close."

This photo from December of 2009 is an example.

That white on the ground is snow. Snow is rare in Ireland — it only falls in the deepest part of winter.

The sun at this latitude doesn't set after 17:00 between November and January.

Thus, the clock in this image has to be at least five hours ahead.

Oddly enough, the buses themselves tend to run on time, or near enough to it.
