I am unable to view my website from this connection.... — Kilkenny, April 2006 |
The laptop crashed when I returned from the United States (March 2007.) I'd left it locked in my bedroom, stuck into a drawer, here in Kilkenny Ireland. When I removed it from the drawer and turned it back on, it stalled, went blue, and went black.
I'd been away for the month of March. When I first entered my bedroom, I noticed an anomaly: the computer speakers had been inverted.
Back downstairs, I found a note on the corkboard, from the landlady. She said that she'd entered my room to wash the curtains "as we'd discussed" — which we hadn't.
There is no apparent connection between these details, but only, apparently, that of bizarre coincidence.
