Autumn 2002 —
I don't believe that war on Iraq is inevitable.
Maybe I'm just being naïve, and this is all just going to come off like some brainwash fantasy, and a bunch of people will get killed in most brutal and senseless fashion. Maybe the U.S. war machine just has to work. Maybe democracy was a good idea gone hijacked.
But I don't believe that.
Maybe, Americans really want a war with Iraq. But I don't believe that, either.
So what's going on? Are humans just murderous, and that's all this is?
I bet that's it.
This is just murder, isn't it?
