One day at work in Ireland

We did a bit of work up at St. Luke's General Hospital, cleaning windows.

One day the Minister for Health was coming down to visit and see the two new additions — a physio-therapy ward and another 6-bed room of rather normal appearance.

Our work was to clean the windows upon the appointed route between the selected areas.

There was no talk of cleaning a single window outside of her view, in the appointed walk. Would she diverge from her path? Probably not — but if so, she'd presumably understand anyhow.
