"Don't speak to my child," part II
I was in Erickson's yesterday and saw the manager for the first time since the non-incident [a few weeks earlier.]
After assuring him that I wasn't trying to bring that whole event back up, [I said that I] wanted to thank him for his help. He kinda laughed, and agreed, and accepted my gratitude.
As I was walking away he said something like "it's not true anymore, what she said." What do you mean? "Her husband doesn't work here anymore."
I didn't ask. I didn't know what to say. But that was alright.
