Geweldig, an odd Dutch word

Here's an odd one, in the Dutch language:

Geweld means "violence."
Geweldig means "fabulous," "fantastic," "terrific.*"
Geweldadig means "violent."

* Geweldig may also be used in the "terrific" sense of "ferocious" — for example "a terrific storm."
