Earth is the largest of the rocky planets that orbit the star Sol, our Sun.
Rich in atomic elements, Earth is in a region of orbit that gives it a temperate environment relative to the states of water — which in fact covers most of the surface, and exists at all times as liquid, solid, and gas.
Earth is an excellent location for the formation and growth of life. And it is rich with life.
