Netherlands twice

I've lived in the Netherlands twice for a total of about two years.

I was in Amsterdam anno 2000, on a houseboat for a few weeks and then an apartment in Osdorp (west metropolitan) for the last half of the year. .

When I left Amsterdam, I went to Seville for about a half year, and from there to Dublin for the summer of 2001. I passed through Galway on the way to Kilkenny, where I got a job and met friends. In the summer of 2003, I went on a meandering bus vacation into the west. There, I met a Dutch girl. She was from Nijmegen the Netherlands. I lived there from August of 2003 to January 2005.

My stay in Nijmegen was interrupted in spring of 2004 by a trip to Kilkenny. I had a rather vague plan. At that time I was oddly quasi-legal in Ireland and not legal at all in NL. But Kim said she needed me and I returned to be with her.

Thus, it may be more accurate to say that I lived in the Netherlands three times, or twice with an asterisk.
